ESTET online meeting
On 20 December the Consortium of the ESTET – Embedding Sustainability Skills in Tourism Education and Training project met online to summarize the project and all its results. At the meeting we discussed the implementation of the final conference, which was a great success, and finalized the creation of the Compendium of Success Stories, which is now available on the project website
ESTET Final Conference
On 1 December 1 in Społeczna Akademia Nauk in Warsaw took place the International Final Conference of the Erasmus+ ESTET project „Education and Training for Sustainable Tourism in Europe”. The event brought together representatives of VET institutions and tourism industry entrepreneurs involved in the management, promotion and development of tourism, especially sustainable tourism. Project partners presented their organizations and the results developed in the project. During the conference, participants listened to a panel discussion on how to integrate knowledge and skills in the field of sustainable development into vocational training programs and daily practices of tourism enterprises. Experts – scientists from leading Polish universities and representatives of the tourism industry presented the currently used solutions and discussed possible future directions of development. In the workshop part, the participants got acquainted with examples of the best practices of sustainable tourism. Together, they created a „travel plan”, taking into account the assumptions of sustainable development and tried to identify the challenges that the tourism industry will have to face in the future and find possible, real and concrete solutions to these problems. Together with the conference, last partner meeting was also held, summarizing the two years of the project.

On 17 November, we held an online meeting of the ESTET project, where we summarised the progress of Result 4 – Compendium of Success Stories. Our next topic was the upcoming Final Conference of the project and the partnership meeting in Poland.

On 20 October we had another online meeting of the ESTET project, during which we discussed the process of piloting the materials developed in the project and issues related to the forthcoming Final Conference combined with the partner meeting in Warsaw.

On 26 September, we held another ESTET project meeting, where we discussed the ongoing progress of the ESTET training programme pilot, planned the next steps in achieving Output 4 – Compendium of Success Stories, and discussed issues related to the final partnership meeting and the project’s final conference in Warsaw.

On 30 August, after summer break, we held an online meeting of Erasmus + project: ESTET-Embedding Sustainability Skills in Tourism Education and Training. During the meeting, the partners summarized the state of work on the results of the project and planned activities for the coming months. Last works related to the project website are in progress. Partners are also preparing a conference summarizing the project, which will be held on 1 December 2022 in Warsaw, to which we invite you to participate.
ESTET Fourth Transnational Project Meeting
in Italy!
On 6-7 July 2022, the 4th partnership meeting of the ESTET project was held in Palermo, Sicily. At the meeting, the partners discussed the current progress of the results and planned activities for the next months. The plan for the project’s closing conference was discussed, as well as issues related to the dissemination and management of the project.

On the 28th of April we held an online meeting where we discussed the final steps related to the translation of the materials developed under results 2 and 3. In the second part of the meeting we focused on discussing the action plan of result 4 and the implementation of its first tasks, and we discussed issues related to the upcoming final partner meeting and conference in Warsaw.
C1 online training
On 29-31 March 2022 we conducted an online Joint Staff Training, which was an added value to the implementation of the project as it provided an opportunity to pilot the ESTET continuing professional development programme in an international environment. Moreover, it allowed us to bring together VET professionals to exchange experiences, learn from each other and develop positive relationships for future cooperation. During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to learn about the three modules developed in the project and participate in workshops on each of them:

Module 3 – Learning resources for the development of sustainability skills
ESTET online meeting
On 1 March 2022 we had another online meeting of the ESTET project, where we summarised the current activities of result 2 and 3, planned the next steps and discussed issues related to the upcoming training in Greece.

At the meeting on 25 January 2022, we discussed the final stage of IO2 implementation, i.e. translation into national languages of the developed materials and the training programme for VET trainers, which is part of IO3.

On the 2nd of December 2021 we had an online meeting to discuss the further process of the implementation of result 2-Portfolio of educational resources on sustainability skills in tourism and result 3-Workplace training programme.

On the 26th of October 2021 we held the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of the ESTET project!
During the meeting we discussed the progress of the work of Outputs 2 and 3 and current issues related to the management and dissemination of the project.

The ESTET project consortium an online meeting on 31 August 2021. We saw the first versions of the scripts and WebQuests prepared by ECQ and discussed issues related to the modules under Output 3.

The first meeting of the new ESTET project is behind us!
On 21 October the first meeting of the new ESTET project – Integration of sustainable development competences into tourism education and training took place.
Due to the current pandemic the meeting was held through the ClickMeeting platform.
Partners from Poland, Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, France and Ireland presented their organizations, discussed issues related to the implementation of intellectual results and project management.
